Preparing your campervan for winter and summer

Change of the seasons. An important moment for a thorough check and preparation of your campervan.

The Van Atelier has drawn up a specific checklist with about 20 checkpoints depending on the winter or summer inspection. These points include checking water tanks and pipes, gas tank, status of all batteries, operation of the lifting roof and roof tent, drainage gutter and tires, to name just a few.

This may also include: reinstallation of the awning after winter (see also awning hotel service) and changing tires according to the season.

We also always look at the "weak points" per type of campervan (VW, Mercedes, Ford) so that you can travel with peace of mind.

Installation of awnings and awning hotel service

At Van Atelier you can obtain all types of awnings with or without installation. Parts for the awnings such as Thule solar or rain store are also available.

Unique in Belgium: Canopy Hotel Service. Many people also use their campervan as a daily vehicle and in that case the presence of an awning is not always appropriate. The Van Atelier takes care of the concrete disassembly (and reinstallation) of your awning and a thorough cleaning of, among other things, the drainage gutter in the camper roof. When not in use, your awning can stay at our hotel.

Installation of parking heating and solar panels

Van Atelier has extensive experience with the technical installation of parking heaters, type Webasto or Ebelspächer. Regardless of the type of vehicle or campervan.

We also offer a wide choice of solar panels, here too you have the choice with or without installation.

Installation of accessories (general)

The Van Atelier has a wide choice and stock of very useful accessories, see also our accessories for sale section. If desired, we can take care of installation.

The Van Atelier also has extensive experience with installing LEATHER on the seats of your campervan. Wide choice of colors, type of stitching and quality leather.

Bodywork repairs (general), repainting or bi-color spraying of your campervan

Damage from outside often affects the living area of your campervan. Repair is specialist work and important for maintaining the warranties, safety and residual value of your campervan.

The Van Atelier can help you with all types of bodywork repairs and/or adjustments. Repairs are always carried out with original parts and by skilled specialists. The residual value of your campervan remains guaranteed.

Our spray booth and experienced master guest has also delivered some gems of BI-COLOR campervans.

Installation of windows (roof or sidewall) and other bodywork projects

The Van Atelier offers a wide choice of installation of different types of windows, skylight, side screen, sliding window, folding window, possibly with accompanying mosquito screen.

Maintenance (general) and creation of warranty file

Good and regular maintenance is the best guarantee for carefree holiday kilometers and daily use of your campervan.

For interval maintenance of your engine part (VW, Mercedes and Ford), we will make an appointment for you with an authorized dealer.

Van Atelier has all the knowledge and experience for maintenance and repairs of the living area of your campervan. We only install original parts according to the prescribed rules of the art. Including creation of a warranty file with the respective manufacturer.
